The valve features an increased outlet design, which reduces fluid exit velocity to minimize flashing, outgassing, and cavitation damage—especially when paired with the proper trim material selection.
Its unique cylinder-guided contour valve plug delivers optimized flow characteristics:Equal percentage (Micro-Form) for 12.7–31.8 mm (0.5–1.25 in) ports Modified parabolic for 38.1–114.3 mm (1.5–4.5 in) ports
A flushing oil port on the valve body allows cleaning between the liner and plug guide to prevent coke buildup. An optional bonnet purge connection (with extension bonnet) is also available for enhanced maintenance.
For extreme service conditions, tungsten carbide trim is offered, significantly extending trim life in the most demanding applications.
The ENVIRO-SEAL packing system ensures superior stem sealing, preventing process fluid leakage. It features PTFE or graphite ULF packing with live loading for reduced maintenance and long-term reliability.
