Fisher YD and YS three-way cage-guided valves are designed for both throttling and on/off control applications, featuring balanced or unbalanced construction options to suit different operating conditions. The YD model handles both converging (combining two flows into one) and diverging (splitting one flow into two) services, while the YS is optimized specifically for converging applications. These robust valves are particularly well-suited for demanding oil and gas production environments, offering reliable performance even in challenging conditions involving sulfide and chloride stress-corrosion. Their cage-guided design ensures precise plug alignment and stable control, with balanced versions available to reduce actuator load in high-pressure differential situations.
